Nov 9, 2010: Vision Lab member and NPS dual-major student LT Rob Zaborowski has been awarded the competitive SPAWAR Student Fellowship! Oct 15, 2010: A new HandVu version is available! Built with OpenCV 2.1, tested on XP and Vista, and permitting custom posture detectors. The Mac OSX version is in the final steps of packaging.
Aug 28, 2010: Our paper on "Vision-based Hand Gesture Interfaces: Challenges and Innovations" has been accepted as the cover feature on the February 2011 issue of the Communications of the ACM! Congratulations, Juan et al! We are in the process of creating a video to accompany the paper.
